Getting started
What is Flowers of Quran?
Flowers of Quran is part of the ‘Aayaatul Quran’ project and combines a printed book with online learning. It holds 234 “flowers” — short phrases from the Quran, each with a simple English meaning and its surah and ayah reference. Children read the flowers, answer short quizzes and watch their own garden bloom.
Is it really free?
Yes. The learning levels and quizzes are 100% free. There are no ads and no ad trackers, and we never sell personal data.
How do we create an account?
Tap Start free and choose who the account is for: My children (a parent), Just me or My students (a teacher or school). Then type the mobile number — choose the country code first (for India, +91, that's 10 digits) — and add each learner's full name. Age, grade and gender are optional, and so is an email address.
Can brothers and sisters use one mobile number?
Yes. Choose My children when you register and add each child — up to 8 on one number. Every child gets their own garden, progress and certificate. After signing in, tap Who’s learning today? to choose a child, and switch any time from the picture menu at the top right.
Already have an account for one child? Open Me → Account & learners to add the others.
Can my child try it before we register?
Yes! Guests can try Level 1 without an account. Guest progress isn't saved, so create a free account when you're ready to keep the garden growing.
Which devices can we use?
Flowers of Quran works in the web browser on phones, tablets and computers. An Android app is coming soon on Google Play.
How do we sign in on another phone or computer?
Tap Log in and enter the same mobile number, with the same country code, that you registered with. Your garden and progress will be right where you left them.
Reading & quizzes
How does a level work?
Each level has 10 flowers — pages from the book. After reading all 10, your child answers 3 short questions. Answer all 3 correctly and the level blooms, unlocking the next one.
How many flowers, levels and quizzes are there?
There are 234 flowers across 24 levels — 10 flowers in each level, and 4 in the final level. Every level ends with 3 questions: 72 quizzes in all.
What happens if my child gets a question wrong?
No problem at all. They'll see which questions to review — without the correct answer being given away — then read the flowers again and try once more. There's no limit on retries.
What is the garden?
Every level your child passes blooms a new kind of flower in their garden — 24 different flowers to collect, from a golden daisy to a golden lotus.
Is our progress saved?
Yes — when you're signed in, progress is saved to your account, so you can carry on from any phone or computer. Progress made as a guest isn't saved.
Certificates
How do we get the certificate?
Bloom all 24 levels. The certificate of completion — with your child's name and its own certificate number, for example FQ-001 — can then be downloaded as a PDF.
What is the certificate number for?
Every certificate has a unique number, like FQ-001. You'll need it — together with the mobile number you registered with — to enter the Flowers of Quran Competition.
The name on the certificate needs correcting. What should we do?
The certificate uses the full name from your registration. If something needs correcting, please send us a message and we'll help.
How can a school or organiser check a certificate?
Open Check a certificate and type the number printed at the top right of the certificate, for example FQ-001. You will see whether it is genuine, the learner’s first name and initial, and the date it was issued.
Competition
What is the Flowers of Quran Competition?
An online competition, held on Zoom, for children who have completed the course. ₹1,00,000 in cash awards will be divided among 20 winners — ₹5,000 each, paid towards their school tuition fees.
How do we join the competition?
Register for the course, study all 234 flowers, and complete the course to get your Certificate of Completion. Then submit your entry through the competition portal (you'll need to sign in) and be online at the scheduled date and time.
When is the competition, and what happens on the day?
The schedule and joining details are sent to each participant's registered mobile number. The competition features any 10 flowers: participants match each Quranic phrase with its correct English meaning.
Account & privacy
What information do you collect?
Only what's needed to run the garden: the details you register with (such as the participant's name, a parent's mobile number, age and gender — email is optional), learning progress and certificate details. We don't collect location, contacts or payment details.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No. There are no ads and no ad trackers, and the learning quizzes are 100% free — we don't collect any payment information.
How do I delete an account and its data?
Sign in and open Me → Account & learners → Delete my account, use our web form, or email ask@characterbee.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”, including the registered phone number and participant name. Verified requests are processed within 30 calendar days.
Can we download the data you hold about us?
Yes. Sign in and open Me → Account & learners → Download my data. You get one file with the account and every learner on it: names, progress, quiz results, certificates and any competition entry.
For parents & schools
How can parents help at home?
Sit together for a few minutes, read a flower and talk about what it means — then let your child answer the questions. The book's motto says it best: “Read a flower every day.”
Can our school use Flowers of Quran?
Yes — schools and teachers can bring Flowers of Quran to their students with the printed book plus the online levels. Send us a message and tell us about your school.
Can a teacher register a whole class?
Yes. Choose My students when you register, add your school name and type your students’ names one after another. Every student gets their own garden and certificate, and all of them sign in with the teacher’s mobile number. Students who already have their own account can join your class with a 6-character class code.
How can I volunteer or become a sponsor?
Volunteers help deliver the book to school students, and sponsors and supporters help us spread the message of the Quran. Send us a message and tell us how you'd like to help.
